Utilizing her Chemical Engineering background, she invented an all natural carrier base – the perfect backdrop for nature’s finest essences. Which, by utilizing her mathematical knowledge of Phi, she precisely combined to create Phi-nomenal products (patent pending). Meet Michelle Roark – Salon Owner & Perfume Creator

OLYMPIC ATHLETE, CHEMICAL ENGINEER, ENTREPRENEUR,  SPEAKER

This never-say-never professional athlete, chemical engineer and entrepreneur has applied unwavering mental and physical strength to overcome setbacks, achieve goals and inspire. As a professional skier, she competed on the US Freestyle Ski Team for 16 years and was awarded numerous titles including Olympian, World Cup Champion, National Champion, World Champion Silver Medalist and many other podium finishes on the World Cup tour. Four years ago, she applied her Chemical Engineering education to launch Phinomenal LLC, an all-natural perfume and body products company rooted in the divine proportions of the number Phi. Michelle  started the journey as a figure skater, turned to skiing at age 16 when funds were thin, juggled numerous jobs to keep the Olympic dream alive in the early years, and rebuilt her skills after knee surgeries an unprecedented six times! In 2006 she won back-to-back World Cups securing her spot in the 2006 Torino Olympics. In the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, she earned freestyle pioneer status by executing a 720 in mogul competition, the most difficult aerial maneuver that a woman has attempted on World Cup. PARKING:

There are two large parking lots located on the block of Curtis between 21st and 22nd as well as on the corner of Broadway and Curtis.  You can also find metered parking all along Curtis right outside our Denver salon.  The easiest way to get to our salon is taking Curtis to 22nd.

Meet our Staff

Karen Pham – Nail Technician / Reflexologist

Karen is our excellent nail technician and reflexologist at Voila.  With over 10 years of experience in the spa industry, Karen feels her specialty is “reviving people’s hands and feet.” One of her favorite things about working in the beauty industry is “helping someone feel better inside and out.”  She also enjoys “glamming people up for special events.”   She gives excellent manicures and pedicures in our beautiful Denver nail salon parlor.

Karen also enjoys digital art, health and fitness, acupuncture and Chinese medicine.  Karen plans on attending a Chinese medicine school and becoming an acupuncturist in the near future.

David Morals – Hair Stylst / Colorist

As one of our talented hair stylists, we are excited to have David apart of our team.  David has been cutting and coloring hair for the last 20 years and enjoy keeping up on his education.  David has attended the Bumble & Bumble Academy and a few other advanced cutting and coloring classes in the past few years. David gives excellent men’s haircuts and offers an excellent cut, color and blowout.

David enjoys making people smile and seeing his guests leave happy about how they look as they leave the salon.  “If I can make someone love the way they look, I have done my job” David says.

Miranda Olinger – Waxing Specialist

As the waxing specialist at Voila, Miranda Olinger has been in the beauty industry for over six years.  In 2010, Miranda was voted top 5 for Denver waxing services by CitySearch.  She is known throughout Denver for giving great brazilian waxes for both men and women. “I am committed to providing my customers with the most intimate care and best waxing products on the market” Miranda says. Jennifer Brown – Hair Stylist / Colorist

As the top colorist of the Voila team, Jennifer brings over 15 years of experience in the beauty industry.  Jennifer loves creating art and helping her guests look and feel beautiful. “I love seeing people feel good about themselves and knowing that I helped them with that is why I do what I do” Jennifer says.  If you are looking for a color or highlight, this is Jennifer’s specialty.  Jennifer has done hair and makeup for many bands as well as worked on many photo shoots for tv shows.

Continuing education is very important to Jennifer, she has attended the J Beverly Hills Academy six times to keep up on the latest trends and techniques.  When Jennifer is not in the salon she enjoys music, health, fitness and nutrition.  Although she does not work in the music industry anymore, she has joined to bands to fill the void.
